Authors who publish in the Jurnal Pendidikan dan Keagamaan retain the copyright of their work. However, by submitting and publishing their manuscripts in this journal, authors grant the publisher the right of first publication.

1. Copyright Retention

  • Authors hold the copyright to their articles.

  • Authors maintain full rights to use, distribute, and reproduce their work for academic and non-commercial purposes, provided that the original publication in this journal is acknowledged.

2. License to Publish

  • Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and preserve the article in all media formats.

  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) or another license stated on the journal’s website.

  • Under the CC BY license, readers are allowed to share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as proper credit is given to the original authors and the journal.

3. Author Rights
Authors are permitted to:

  • Deposit their work in institutional repositories or personal websites.

  • Use parts of the article in future works (e.g., books, chapters, teaching materials).

  • Share the published version for educational or research purposes.

4. Publisher Rights
The publisher reserves the right to:

  • Manage the publication process, including formatting, editing, and distribution.

  • Archive and index the article in national and international databases.

  • Enforce ethical standards related to publication and citation.

5. Third-Party Content

  • Authors must ensure that any third-party content (images, tables, figures, or copyrighted materials) included in the manuscript has proper permission for use.

  • The journal is not responsible for any legal issues arising from unauthorized use of copyrighted materials.

6. Copyright Disputes

  • In case of copyright disputes, the journal will follow COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to investigate and resolve the matter.

  • The journal reserves the right to retract articles with proven copyright violations.
